This evening I feel physically and mentally shitty: nauseous, tired, headache, depressed. There is little I can do about the latter as my fate is sealed. If I was not pragmatic to a fault, I'd be taking off at dawn to a new world and saying goodbye to the one in which I now find myself trapped. I seek no advice or pity. Writing this down is my way of facing the truth. And yes, I can handle the truth.

There seems to be a trend among younger males to view body hair as a taboo. Now men can buy a special razor designed to remove it from all, including the most sensitive, areas. Although I perceive the trend as silly, when I see older guys with smooth hairless arms and legs I cringe. WTF!

Whales and Tigers

It is sad to see animals, which are genetically wired to survive in a natural environment, do tricks. The issue is not that an Orca killed a trainer, but why a humane society would allow such beautiful animals to be held in a tank of water for the sole purpose of selling tickets for entertainment. It is NOT about what should be done with the whale, rather what should be done to prevent using wild animals for entertainment.
